Your layout not listed? You may be able to use one of the workarounds below.

Mac OS X
This workaround allows you to use the IPv6 Buddy while keeping your current keyboard layout.
1. Install Karabiner.
2. Apply this private.xml file.
3. In the preferences panel, under Change Key, select IPv6 Buddy and check your country from the list.
4. If your country is not listed, email us and we will create a new private.xml file for you.

Linux
This workaround allows you to use the IPv6 Buddy while keeping your current keyboard layout. It has been tested using Ubuntu.

Download these files:
ipv6buddy.sh
ipv6buddyudev.sh
ipv6buddy.rules

Place ipv6buddy.rules in /etc/udev/rules.d/
Place ipv6buddy.sh and ipv6buddyudev.sh in /usr/local/bin/
chmod +x /usr/local/bin/ipv6buddy.sh
chmod +x /usr/local/bin/ipv6buddyudev.sh
Edit ipv6buddy.sh and change <username> to your login username on lines 3 and 5.

Windows
Windows applies the same keyboard layout to all attached keyboards. From what we have found, it is not possible to assign the IPv6 Buddy a different keyboard layout to your primary keyboard.

The only workaround we have found is to switch between layouts:
1. Go to Control Panel -> Region and Language.
2. Keyboards and Languages -> Change keyboards...
3. Add the US keyboard layout, in addition to your current keyboard layout.
4. Press left alt-left shift to switch keyboard layouts before and after using the IPv6 Buddy.
